Hydrogenated oils |

Good comment Samantha, You peaked my curiosity, so I contacted Norm & Caryll of Peabutter and asked about the hydrogenated oil. This is the info they sent.
"Stabilizer is required to make Peabutter a spread rather than a liquid and the hydrogenated cottonseed oil is only 0.4% of the Peabutter."
Thanks! for helping us learn something new about Peabutter.

The ingredients aren't listed like that, and I wouldn't have bought it otherwise. Because hydrogenated oils are unhealthy, I wouldn't buy it again. It does taste good.

I recently received this product for the first time. I love the creamy texture, the taste is great and it does well in baking. I made Peabutter cookies and they tasted great.
